HEAD GUIDE - GUIDE OPERATIONS MANAGER
Casey was born in September 1990 in Sparks, NV and he grew up there fishing the lakes and partaking in water sports since he was able hop aboard the boat. He tied his first fly at the age of 8 using pillow feathers, sewing thread, and some nail polish so that he could catch some bluegill. Casey played soccer for 16 years as a goalkeeper and he went on to receive a scholarship to play at a liberal arts University in Oklahoma where he studied art and continued to fish in his free time. He returned to Reno to coach Reed High School’s varsity soccer team and at that time he also began to pursue his tattoo career. He has now been tattooing for over 4 years and looks to open up his own shop in the future.
Casey has always had a strong passion for fishing and art, which is the reason for his success on and off the water. He looks to fulfill his biggest passion of flyfishing by pursuing the elusive 30 pound Lahontan. Over the past few years, Casey has helped dozens of fisherman dial into the fishery and catch the fish of their lifetime. Casey is notorious on the lake for being the #1 “Netman” as he has helped land many big fish for his friends and even random nearby fisherman. He is dedicated to putting extensive time on the water in attempts to “crack the code” of the mysterious Pyramid Lake and the monsters that dwell within.

AUSTIN MONTREIL LEONARD
MEDIA AND MARKETING DIRECTOR - WEB DESIGN
Austin was born in North Carolina in 1990 and lived in the cities until 3rd grade where he then moved to the Appalachian Mountains with his mother and sister. While in the cities, Austin grew up mostly bass/crappie fishing with his father and his uncle until he eventually began targeting trout once he moved into the mountains. Austin adapted to the mountain lifestyle very quickly and began snowboarding without hesitation to limits. With talented friends in the area, Austin picked up freestyle snowboarding fairly quickly and before you know it, he was traveling nationwide and had a handful of sponsors. During his last year of high school and throughout his college years, Austin had landed a job at Windells Summer Camp in Oregon. He worked at camp for 6 summers and this was where he found his love for the outdoors and flyfishing. He then went on to get an Associates Degree in Fine Arts while studying graphic design, which is where he found his passion for photography.
Encouraged by his peers, Austin fell into the addiction of flyfishing and quickly became captivated in all it had to offer. Flyfishing and photography were so harmonious together, that he later put down the snowboard and went full-steam-ahead on his outdoor photography and fishing. Austin has now lived in Central Oregon for over 4 years and enjoys everything it has to offer. He is a Pro Ambassador for some of the largest flyfishing companies in the world, including Redington and RIO. Although he is just a few states away, Austin is no stranger to Pyramid Lake. We look forward to him sharing his talents with the team and of course his urge for finding big fish.
CAPT. ROBERT HAGERTY
CEO - DIRECTOR OF EVENTS & MANAGEMENT - GUIDE
When talking leadership, organization, and running security for some of America's biggest events, no one fits the part better than Captain Rob Hagerty. As CEO of Pyramid Fly Co., Rob is the perfect fit for the amazing team he has created.
Capt. Rob has supervised and directed security and itinerary plans for handfuls of events for the NFL and many Universities across America. With all of his event experience aside, Rob has over 20 years of fly shop and guiding experience. He was a deckhand and guide for many years and then went on to own his own big game fishing company, Team Ocean X-treme, located in Negril, Jamaica.
Currently based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Capt. Rob is still running a plethora of sports events but has been spending much of his spare time flyfishing and organizing upcoming flyfishing events, such as the PIG FARM INK's 1st National event at Crosby's Lodge on October 1st. The Pyramid Fly Co. team is ecstatic to have such a genuine CEO and friend.
Rob is a teenaged trout bum who hails from the front range of Colorado. Although young, he has been fishing for about as long as he can remember. Growing up, he fished bass tournaments quite a bit, along with lots of crappie/panfish fishing in the ponds and lakes around his home. As he evolved as an angler, fly fishing became more of a passion as opposed to a hobby. Carp are definitely Rob's specialty, and he also has a major addiction to throwing giant meat flies for giant trout. He's been tying like a plethora of flies for about 4 years now, and he spends most of his time off the water tying on the bench. From #32 midges all the way up to 10-inch articulated bugs, chances are, he’s spun it up.
Tying for Pyramid Fly Company is a dream come true for Rob. Being able to put out quality hand tied flies has always been his priority when it comes to tying, and now with PFC, he's able to bring them to the public's hands and help people catch more fish!
